Weekday Groups Now Open

To meet the incredible demand brought on by the recent election in the United States, Patchwork has expanded its General Transgender Peer Support group. In addition to runing Saturdays at 4:00pm eastern time, the group now also runs Monday through Friday at 1:00pm and again at 10:00pm eastern time. In addition, Patchwork has launched a new peer group open to all trans and gender diverse people as well as their cis partners, friends, families, allies, and gender affirming care providers. This group is scheduled  to run Monday through Friday at 8:00pm eastern.

Patchwork Founder and Executive Director Stephanie Joy Kolton will be a featured presenter at Empowering Trans Voices global roundtable event (29 October). She will be discussing the importance of building strong support systems and community networks for transgender individuals, focusing on resources like mental health support. Discuss how these networks function in the US and globally, offering essential backing to transgender individuals. Stephanie will be speaking along side Trans activists from around the world including Rudrani Chhetri, Mallery Jenna Robinson, Robert Panico, Amari McGee, James Patnaude, Gafidyn Rae Wesonga, and Reshma Prasad,

She will be discussing the global history of transgender peoples. As well, Stephanie will be facilitating a peer support group and a Deep Listening CIrcle for conference attendees. Patchwork Founder and Executive Director Stephanie Joy Kolton will be a featured presenter at the 2024 First Event conference (24-28 January) in Boston, MA, hosted by Transgender Community of New England (TCNE). She will be discussing the vital importance of peer support in health access and equity, and will lead attendees in a deep listening circle. She will also be hosting a support group for attendees who have had, or are considering, facial feminisation surgery on behalf of FacialTeam.
